Field Measurement on Translational and Torsional Wind-Induced Response of a High-Rise Building during Typhoon Khanun

Full measurements for the wind field atop a 32-storey building (supported by four huge columns) and dynamic responses of different floors were conducted on 15 October 2017 to obtain translational torsional high-rise during Typhoon Khanun. The time histories angular acceleration 24th 32nd obtained using RA013 rotational accelerometer, those 6th, 12th, 18th, 24th, 30th along axial direction recorded accelerometer. variation rules with floor height mean speed disclosed, response ratios between analyzed when basic intervals 10 min. Based target probability method, value range peak factor reliability under Khanun was proposed. results show that values root squares are power functions speed. factors recommended be 3.0 5.0 if reliabilities determined as 99.38% 100%, respectively. Research can accumulate valuable scientific data lay solid foundations subsequent studies wind-resistant design buildings.
